NFC Tap to Pay and receipt printers · Updated September 2026

JuzePOS runs on devices you already own. You do not need a dedicated card terminal. This page lists what works for contactless NFC payments and receipt printers.

Running the POS

Checkout, catalog, and reporting work on:

Keyed card entry, wallet, cash, and ACH options are available on both web and mobile. Tap to Pay (NFC) runs only in the mobile app on a compatible Android device (see below).

NFC Tap to Pay (contactless)

Customers tap a contactless card or mobile wallet on the back of your phone or tablet. No separate card reader is required. Use this list when buying or assigning a device for tap payments.

PlatformSupported?Requirements
Android phone Yes Android 13 or newer, built-in NFC, Location permission enabled for JuzePOS. Install the JuzePOS app from Google Play (or your store build). Developer options should be turned off for live payments.
Android tablet Usually yes Same as phones when your payment processor attests the model. Many modern Android tablets with NFC work; if Tap to Pay is unavailable in the app, use keyed Card entry or another phone.
iPhone / iPad Not yet Tap to Pay on iPhone requires an Apple entitlement JuzePOS does not have yet. Use Card (keyed entry), wallet/ACH options, or an Android device for contactless.
Web POS (browser) No SoftPOS Open the JuzePOS mobile app on a compatible Android device to take NFC Tap to Pay.
