ProofMile delivery

Merchant tutorial · Last-mile delivery from POS and your online storefront

ProofMile is JuzePOS’s last-mile partner. When it is enabled for your store, cashiers and online shoppers can choose Delivery, pay a delivery fee at checkout, and JuzePOS dispatches a ProofMile courier after the sale is paid.

Merchants cannot turn ProofMile on by themselves. Complete your store address, then ask JuzePOS support (or your account manager) to run ProofMile setup. After that, status shows under Settings → Integrations (web) or Settings → ProofMile delivery (mobile).

1. Get enabled

  1. In JuzePOS, open Settings → Locations and make sure each pickup store has a full street, city, state, and ZIP. ProofMile uses these as pickup points.
  2. Email support@juzepos.com and ask to enable ProofMile for your merchant. Include your store name and the locations that should offer delivery.
  3. When setup is done, Settings → Integrations → ProofMile delivery shows Enabled and Linked: Yes.

Until that card says Enabled, POS will not show Pickup / Delivery, and your marketplace will stay pickup-only.

2. Charge a delivery fee

The delivery fee is paid by the customer and added to the order total as a Delivery fee line. Cashiers can change the amount on the cart (web and mobile POS). Online checkout uses your store’s default delivery fee.

JuzePOS platform fees do not apply to the ProofMile delivery fee. Card processor fees still apply to the full charge. JuzePOS later remits delivery amounts to ProofMile; your product sales still pay out to your bank on the usual T+2 ACH schedule.

3. Use Delivery on POS (recommended)

Works on the web POS and the JuzePOS mobile app once ProofMile is enabled.

  1. Build the cart as usual (items, customer, discounts, tax).
  2. Tap Delivery (instead of Pickup).
  3. Enter the drop-off street, city, state, and ZIP. Add a customer phone when you can — couriers use it for the handoff.
  4. Confirm the delivery fee. It is added to the total before payment.
  5. Take payment (card, Tap to Pay, wallet, cash, or ACH).
  6. After pay, JuzePOS automatically requests ProofMile. The success screen shows status and a Track Delivery link.

If auto-dispatch did not run, use Request Delivery on the success screen, enter the address, and submit. You can only request delivery on a completed (paid) order.

4. Online storefront (marketplace)

If your plan includes the marketplace and ProofMile is enabled, shoppers on your public store URL can choose Pickup or Delivery, enter an address, and pay through JuzePOS checkout. After payment, ProofMile is dispatched the same way as POS.

Set a checkout note under Settings → Marketplace (hours, delivery area, ID required, etc.).

5. Orders from ProofMile Marketplace

When you opt in to list inventory on ProofMile (Settings → Integrations → List my inventory on ProofMile), shoppers can also buy on proofmile.com/marketplace. After they pay:

  1. JuzePOS receives a marketplace.order.created webhook and shows the order for fulfillment.
  2. Pack the bag, then mark Ready for driver in JuzePOS (or in the ProofMile merchant portal under Marketplace → Orders).
  3. ProofMile dispatches a courier only after payment is confirmed and the order is marked ready.

Ready-for-driver is the handoff gate: do not mark ready until the order is packed and at the counter for pickup.

6. Track and follow up

Common questions

I do not see Pickup / Delivery on the cart

ProofMile is not enabled yet. Check Settings → Integrations, complete location addresses, and contact support.

Payment succeeded but there is no tracking link

Use Request Delivery on the success screen and enter the address. If it still fails, confirm the merchant is Linked and email support with the order number.

A ProofMile Marketplace order is not picking up a driver

Confirm the customer paid, then tap Ready for driver on the order. Dispatch stays blocked until that gate.

Can I use ProofMile on iPhone POS?

Yes. Delivery does not require NFC. Tap to Pay on iPhone is separate (see Compatible devices).
